How to Generate License Files
License files are required for the Volinga Plugin for Unreal Engine and enable offline login for Volinga Suite. These files are tied to a specific machine. Therefore, generating a license file requires a unique hardware hash from the desired machine. This hardware hash, specific to a machine and its installed software, can be retrieved directly from the software once it's running on the target machine.
How to Retrieve the Hardware Hash for Volinga Plugin for Unreal Engine
Under the Volinga settings in the project settings (Edit > Project Settings > Volinga), the hardware hash is displayed as the final setting within the Licensing section. Please note that this is a read-only setting, and the hardware hash from a specific machine cannot be modified.
How to Retrieve the Hardware Hash for Volinga Suite
During login, click on "Use offline license" . The hardware hash will then be displayed in the "Device Hash" field.
How to Generate a License File
Once the hardware hash for the target machine has been retrieved, the first time you click the "Download License" button for a specific license, a dialogue asking for the hash code will appear. After entering the hash code and clicking "Generate," a new license will be created. Subsequent clicks on the "Download License" button will download this newly generated license file.

Please note that after generating a license, you will not be able to generate a new one yourself through the standard user interface. This security measure is in place to prevent unauthorized license duplication and misuse. If you need to change the device that your license is assigned to, you must contact the support team, providing them with your account details and the reason for the device change request. They will then assist you in reassigning the license to your new machine.
