The Volinga Plugin for Unreal Engine is a high-performance solution for integrating Gaussian Splatting technology into Unreal Engine workflows. Supporting both static (3DGS) and animated (4DGS) Gaussian Splats, the plugin enables Media & Entertainment professionals to seamlessly incorporate photorealistic volumetric content into virtual production, visualization, and real-time rendering pipelines.
With support for multiple Gaussian Splat file formats (NVOL, PLY, SOG, and SPZ), advanced color management (ACES and OCIO), Level Streaming workflows, Sequencer integration, and large-scale datasets, the plugin delivers a flexible and production-ready workflow for creating high-quality real-time experiences inside Unreal Engine.
Starting with version 0.9.0, the Volinga Plugin introduced a modular architecture that separates the system into two core components:
